The Pomodoro Technique
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method which uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. These intervals are named pomodoros. You can read more on this method here.
How does it work?
- Decide on the task to be done.
- Start the pomodoro timer
- Work on the task
- End work when the timer rings and put a checkmark
- If you have fewer than four checkmarks, take a short break, then go to step 2
- After four pomodoros, take a long break
